Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 23, 2026 | Last updated: April 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how FeelixVibe (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile application, related websites (including feelixvibe.com), and services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is the entity operating FeelixVibe. Contact for privacy questions: legal@feelixvibe.com.
2. Eligibility
The Services are intended for adults. You must meet the minimum age in your region (typically 18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children as defined by applicable law.
3. Information we collect
3.1 You provide
- Account details: email, phone (if used for login/OTP), profile information you choose (e.g. name, bio, mood, interests, photos, short video or audio intros).
- Content you create: messages, reactions, story posts, room messages, reports, and support requests.
- Payment-related data when you purchase paid features (handled by payment providers; we typically receive limited confirmation, not full card numbers).
3.2 Automatically collected
- Device and app data: device type, OS, app version, language, approximate location derived from IP where needed for security or compliance.
- Usage and diagnostics: logs, crash data, feature usage, and anti-abuse signals (e.g. rate limits, fraud checks).
- Communications metadata: timestamps, delivery/read states where applicable.
3.3 From others
- Safety: reports, block lists, and moderation outcomes may reference your account.
- Third parties: if you sign in or connect through a partner, we may receive identifiers they allow us to receive under their terms.
4. How we use information
We use personal data to:
- Provide, secure, and improve the Services (matching, chat, stories, rooms, notifications).
- Authenticate you, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and protect users (safety, moderation, legal compliance).
- Send service messages (e.g. verification, security alerts) and, where permitted, product updates; you can opt out of marketing where required by law.
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to improve the product.
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
5. Legal bases (where GDPR / UK GDPR applies)
Depending on context, we rely on: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), consent (where required), and legal obligation.
6. Sharing of information
We may share data with:
- Service providers who process data on our instructions (hosting, storage, email/SMS, analytics, crash reporting, payment, push delivery).
- Other users as part of normal product function (e.g. profile and content you choose to show).
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate notices where required.
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional “data broker” sense. Where “sale” or “sharing” has specific definitions (e.g. U.S. state laws), we describe choices in Section 9.
7. International transfers
If we process data in countries other than where you live, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required by law.
8. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and safety requirements. Some content may expire automatically (e.g. time-limited stories). If you ask us to delete your account or certain personal data, we handle verified requests as described in Section 9 and may still retain limited information where the law or legitimate safety or compliance needs require it (e.g. security logs, legal holds).
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
- Data portability where applicable.
- Opt out of certain uses for targeted advertising or “sales/sharing” as defined by local law.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
In-app self-service: The app does not currently include a self-service “delete my data” or “delete my account” control, or a full in-app data export. To exercise these rights, you must contact us (below). We will respond in line with applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
To exercise rights, contact legal@feelixvibe.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to third-party sites or services. Their practices are governed by their own policies. Review them before providing information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice (e.g. in-app).
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. For questions: legal@feelixvibe.com.
